We recently worked with Scott Hill from Pacific Building and Maintenance (0450 326 889) to design and fabricate 3mm stainless steel screens to be used in the renovated outdoor smoking section at Melbas.
The brief required a minimum open area of 75% and hole sizes that would not allow bottles or glasses to be pushed through the screen onto the patrons below! The client liked a pattern with irregular shapes that required laser cutting rather than perforating.
The end result is great looking panels that provide safety for Melba’s customers whilst complying with the Queensland Department of Health’s Outdoor Smoking Regulations.
If you have a design problem that we can help you with, and if it requires any metal under 15mm thick we can help, please let us know and we’d love to work with you.
