22 Australian colours to choose from

Colorbond has been designed with the colours of Australia in mind. And with 22 colours to choose from there’s something to suit any home or commercial building in Australia, whether the roof is gable, skillion, Dutch gable, curved or concaved.

To make colour selection easier for your new roof, renovation or extension, please download the official Colorbond colour chart from our website. And because the colours on monitors and home printers can vary please feel free to call into our showroom and collect some free colour swatches if you are unsure of the difference between colour shades.

If you are at the start of the design process and need to choose a colour, please download the official Colorbond colour chart here. You can also view the Colorbond brochure here.

It’s not just for roofing – Colorbond is great for walls and ceilings too

Don’t forget that Colorbond can also be used for wall cladding, through either traditional roof sheet profiles such as corrugated or Monclad (Stramit) or Trimdeck (Lysaght) or through more contemporary wall cladding panel systems such as Stramit’s C-Clad and Premier 300 range. There are also thinner gauge wall sheets that have wider sheet coverage than roofing sheets. The most popular of these profiles is called Mini Corry, which as the name suggested is a smaller corrugated profile. It looks great in both residential and commercial applications, for both walling and ceiling and soffit panels.

Fire and termite resistant Colorbond is a safe choice for our climate.

If you require an acoustic roof panel, perforated Colorbond corrugated or Mini Corry sheets are a great solution both aesthetically and economically.

Save on energy costs and have a cooler roof cavity

One of the most recent developments is the creation of Thermatech® technology that optimises the solar reflection properties of every Colorbond steel standard roofing and walling colours except for Night Sky (which is black). Thermatech is not available in Colorbond stainless steel.

First introduced in 2008, Thermatech® technology has become standard to the six new colours that were added to the range in 2013. The colours included four new shades of grey – Basalt, Wallaby, Gully and Cove – a eucalypt green called Mangrove, and a deep red called Terrain.
